Hypnosis Hypnosis is a form of focused relaxation. In this state you are much more able to communicate with your unconscious and have it work with you. Your unconscious in some situations has more wisdom than your conscious mind. This is usually true with habits, such as overeating, smoking, procrastination.
TFT(Thought Field Therapy) A form of therapy developed by Roger Callahan, based on applied Kinesiology. I use TFT with eating addictions as well as smoking. Usually after one session you will feel your craving decline dramatically and then usually you will need one to three half-session follow-ups. In a TFT session, you will be asked to bring the item you are addicted to. Then through a combination of muscle testing and tapping yourself in different spots you will begin to feel yourself not wanting that item.
EMDR EMDR is an effective method for working with stressors and traumas. This is effective in eliminating unwanted habits such as overeating or sexual compulsiveness. EMDR , usually works after only three sessions, your habits are changed. EMDR will not only help you get over your unwanted habit, but will also give you a deeper understanding of why you had the habit. Essentially in about two to three double sessions you will accomplish what you would have in about 6 - 12 months of weekly psychotherapy.
