I speak from personal experience. Barry is a deeply insightful and skilled therapist who is able to see the root of one's emotional difficulties. Most important-he has helped me(where others have failed), on my path to emotional health.

EMDR & Barry helped me get through some of the most traumatic experiences of my life. Without him I don't know where I would be.

Barry was a really big help to me. He understood exactly what my situation was like unlike any other therapist has before. It was really comforting to be understood like that. I will be going back to see him again as soon as I am able.

I've been in therapy on and off. The pattern was always the same: I would go through some emotional crisis, go to therapy, and then once the crisis was over , I'd run out of things to talk about.

Two years ago, I went through a bad breakup and decided to resume this cycle. I still had hope that I could find a better match for my needs. In my research, I stumbled upon EMDR and got in contact with Barry. After I got to know him I realized I found the perfect therapist. He is extremely intuitive, excellent at knowing how to navigate situations, genuine, and helpful.

Barry has been through obstacles in his life and overcome them. I think that's why his demeanor made me feel like I could tell him anything. In fact, I did just that. I told him things I never told anyone. He has helped me immensely in an extremely short period of time. He has never been anything but helpful.

I googled "EMDR" to get my wife some help. I found Barry. Then my wife started to get better.

Then I went to see Barry--Barry asked questions that led directly to my remembering and more importantly--emotionally experiencing the sexual abuse I'd suffered as an 8 year old kid.

Within a few sessions, the light was shining where darkness had been. Instead of just yapping--we were working to find the problem and knock it out. We did. Barry is the best, perhaps in the world. Just trust his methods.

Two years later my wife and I grow happier by the day. She's growing in her career. I'm creating transformational results on a systemic level at work--life is good. Barry helped tremendously, and it didn't take long.

I wish someone had flat out said to me earlier:

You can afford it. You do have time. If you're reading here, there's a damned good chance you would benefit from it. It WORKS--if you'll stop thinking about whether or not it's worth it.

I've been through two EMDR sessions now and the results are incredible. I'm starting to feel way more at ease and less stressed throughout my daily life. I've struggled with a painful, critical voice in my head for years and after working with Barry, the voice is no longer there. I can finally move forward in key areas of my life like work and love, and I look forward to seeing what else I can achieve with Barry's help. Thanks!

Ever since a friend of my recommended Barry (and I started seeing him regularly), my life has taken a turn for the better. I appreciate Barry's direct approach -- it's honest and cuts through any chaos and drama. Through EMDR sessions (along with great medical support), I have found freedom from issues (social phobias, PTSD, anxieties) that used to haunt me and/or kept me stuck for years.

On a serious note, Barry's keen sense of observation literally saved my life when a bad doctor was prescribing me the wrong medication (making me very sick). He insisted that I seek medical attention at once and he was correct. New physicians agreed with Barry's assessment and they helped me get healthy.

I enjoy Barry's enthusiasm and his genuine concern. I consider him more than just a therapist -- he's a real human being.

[As an aside, I have ADD and he's been extremely helpful in guiding me through this recovery process].

I can't tell if it's the EMDR or if it's the way Barry understood me instantly, but the combination is changing my life and healing a lifetime of pain. Can't say enough good about it.

There is no way I make it to the place I am without Barry's help, and specifically without the help of EMDR. There were several moments from my past that were keeping me from moving forward in my life. Through the use of EMDR, Barry was able to get me to freedom. I will be forever grateful for that.

I was stuck for years in a therapy rut, and couldn't understand why I wasn't making more significant progress. I found myself unable to move forward in becoming the person hidden behind years of pain and trauma. That was until I stumbled upon Barry's website shortly after finding out about EMDR. In just one EMDR session I uncovered so much about myself, my life and the very things that were holding me back, and was able to break free from the stronghold they had formed in my life. I am still on the path to healing, and thanks to Barry and his expertise in EMDR, I have hope.
